Alix and Mary Bernard

Alix has a BS in Automotive Technology and has worked in the automotive industry for several years. Most recently he was a fabricator with a local company that relocated the business out of state and forced him into the ranks of he unemployed. This became an opportunity for him to make a change in his career path. Growing up his passion has not only included building street rods and Harleys but drawing and painting. He is currently enrolled in art classes to help him hone his techniques.

Mary has a BS in Business Administration and has recently become obsessed with recycling.  It was on a shopping trip that Mary stumbled upon a slumped wine bottle and purchased it to see if Alix would be interested in doing something similar.  Their products include drinking glasses, platters, spoon rests, butter dishes, candle holders, slumped bottles, fused bottles & glass, wine label collages and jewelry all made from wine & liquor bottles collected in the upstate from their partner restaurants and friends. Items can be personalized with laser etching or hand painted original works of art. They also have drawings & paintings for sale.
